WHERE TO START
WHAT TO WEAR
We offer aerial workshops to the public, private lessons and weekly classes to members of our studio. If this is your very first time trying aerials, you can either participate in one of our monthly Introductory Aerial Workshops or take a private workshop/lesson that you organize.
Our Introductory Aerial Workshops are held the first and third Sunday of every month from 1:00-3:00pm. To reserve your spot, please send us an email entitled ‘Workshop Reservation’ with the date of your choosing, your name, a contact phone number, email addresss, and your intended method of payment. Please include any and all gift certificate or voucher information. Or you can click right here to go straight to our ‘Contact Page’
We are also available for parties, performances and events of all kinds. For more details, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Layers, layers, layers! Most of our participants prefer to wear several layers (a tank top or leotard beneath, and a fitted long sleeve shirt on top that can be tucked in for certain moves) as it is the most suited for our warehouse climate and what we do at our studio!
You’ll want to wear a shirt that completely covers your armpit area, your elbow pits, and your stomach. You will be much more comfortable if the shirt isn’t too loose, and can be tucked in easily as we will be going upside down very often! Wear pants that are easy to move around in, and that will cover the backs of your knees. Please avoid capris, wind-pants and other slick materials unless you are an experienced aerialist. We have found that full length cotton yoga pants or leggings are the most versatile and comfortable according to our staff and members.
Once you have taken an Introductory Aerial Workshop, you are welcome to become a member of our studio! Following your workshop, if you are interested in becoming a member, please send us a text or email, and we will set you up with a package and a schedule that fits your schedule, and level!
All of our classes include training in both aerial trapeze and aerial silks. Our members are required to participate on both pieces of equipment. We have discovered through the decades of teaching and training that in order to be the best aerialist one can be, the use of both pieces of equipment is necessary, making you stronger, both physically and mentally.
